Mechanical Outline

Mounting the Drive

The drive can be mounted on the narrow side or the wide side. Either way, you’ll need two #6

screws to secure the drive using the 0.2” mounting slots. The hole pattern and drive outline

are shown below.

• Never use your drive in a space where there is no air ﬂow or where other devices cause the sur-

rounding air to be more than 40 °C.

• Never put the drive where it can get wet or where metal particles can get on it.

• Always provide air ﬂow around the drive.

• Minimum spacing between drives mounted vertically is .75”.
